2009 was another good year. Many of your team mates did us
proud and made a lot of noise on the masters track scene
last year - both nationally and internationally. Check
out the 2009 national rankings at:
http://www.mastersrankings.com/. Hopefully we will
continue and build upon that success during 2010.
With the new year its time to prepare for the
upcoming track season. A few important reminders that
you all need to take care of immediately if you have not
already:
(1) Don't forget to renew your USATF membership for
2010. Please go online at
www.usatf.org and take care of your 2010 membership
ASAP. Your USATF enrollment needs to be up to date to
enter the National Masters indoor and/or outdoor
championships and all USATF sanctioned meets.
(2) Don't forget to apply/reapply to the Maryland
Masters Track Club for 2010. You all need to fill out
the 2010 application and mail it in with your $130
dues made payable to our treasurer Sherman Weatherspoon
at the address on the application ASAP! The application
can be found on this Web site.
(3) Please join us for team practices at the Bowie
State University outdoor track every Saturday at 8:30
AM. Indoor season has started. Lets get in shape and
ready for the upcoming indoor and outdoor seasons.
